Design both as an art form and as a profession has started to gain prevalent popularity and has begun making its mark as a career option to reckon with. Graphic design can be understood to be the inventive practice of using visible imagery and forms to exhibit a selection of ideas and communicate a good range of feelings and concepts- both abstract and concrete. Graphic Design isn’t limited to only photographs and includes using words, pictures and symbols to convey messages. Graphic planning involves numerous pro strategies like image manipulation, conceptual coming up with, page layout and typography.
While graphical design was at first viewed as an “alternative profession” limited to those with inventive leanings and inclinations it has now come to be viewed as a heavy vocation. The advent of the mass media and the rising acclaim of “design products” like ads and mags has brought about the impetus for graphic design to become a coveted skill and asked for profession.
Advertising is one of the premier fields which use Graphic Design as a vital component of the working. Dressing up any product or service involves inventive elements, trademark designing, textual formatting and an array of other procedures which all fall under the common banner of Graphic Design.
